plan of salvation

We hope you are enjoying our website. We pray that you know our entire purpose revolves around this page. This is why this site exists, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with a lost and dying world. Answer this question...

If you were to die today, where would you spend eternity?

If you cannot answer "Yes" to this question without a doubt then answer this question...

Does this bother you?

It should. The Bible teaches that our eternity revolves around this one question. Our answer determines whether we will experience either the most sublime of blessings (eternal Heaven) or the most horrible of consequences (eternal Hell).

plan

In the Bible, in John 3:7, Jesus teaches that in order to go to Heaven, "Ye must be born again."

John 3:7

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.:

The Bible also teaches in Romans 3:10 and 3:23 that we all have sinned and therefore have a broken relationship with God.

Romans 3:10

10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Romans 3:23

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God:

Adam and Eve sinned while in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3) and we have inherited that sin nature. Romans 5:12 and 6:23 teaches that sin entered enter the world by one man and the punishment for sin is death.

Romans 5:12

12 Wherefore, as one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

of

Romans 6:23

23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Although we are sinners God has provided a way to mend our broken relationship by providing forgiveness of sins. God sent His only son to die as the perfect spotless sacrifice to provide the final sacrifice for our sin.

Romans 5:8

8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

John 3:16

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

To accept this gift you must first come to the realization that you a sinner. Second you must believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He was crucified for our sins, He was buried, rose again on the third day and then ascended back to Heaven to sit at the right hand of God. Thus fulfilling God's redemptive plan for man.

salvation

Romans 10:9-13

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Once you have accepted this gift of salvation it is the power of God that save which he promised to do for everyone that believes on Him

Romans 1:16

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

There is nothing that can take this salvation away and no amount of works will ever make your salvation more secure.

Romans 8:38-39

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
